Boy how the time is flying, can't believe we are almost in November. Am starting to scrap with some new Chrissy papers tha Lana has sent me. There will be kits available in store in the next month or two.

What's been happening at CIS?
Raising money for Breast Cancer!!!! We had our girls night in last saturday night and it was great fun!! We had lots of games and scrappy fun for everyone and the girls had a blast. Lana and the girls ended up smashing her goal of raising $100 and ended up with approx $230.
Karen ran a speedscrap, Kerryn had her hyperdash class and Lana and I ran a few games, the night went soooo fast, but I loved every minute of it!!
Krissy also did an exclusive sketch and all the girls did a gorgeous job with it!!!
Here is the layout that I created for it.
There are still the monthly competitions that are on and you have until saturday night (31st october) to upload your layouts to the gallery to be for a chance to win a voucher from the store! Here is what I did for the technique - ribbons challenge, which is to create ribbon flowers.

This layout is for the monthly Shaping up challenge, which is to use rings on your layout.

We also have the October GIRL POWER CYBERCROP coming up over the Melbourne Cup long weekend holiday, next weekend. So come on down and join in on all the fun!!

ARTYPANTS NEWS!!!!

Well the SCRAP YOUR PANTS OFF is in full swing and I've just uploaded the week 2 challenge!

MORE SCRAPPY NEWS!!

Well I'm very very happy to announce that Scrapbooking Memories Magazine have accepted one of my layouts for publication!!! WHOOHOO!! I've just sent it off today, so we'll see what comes of it and if they actually choose it for their vintage theme in a few months time. I can't share the layout until 2 months after the magazine has been released, but I will then :)

October is GIRL POWER month and the girls have cooked up a treat of monthly challenges:

Technique - ribbon flowers by Karen

Favourites - scrap your favourite girl in your life and use one of your favourite sketches from September.

Kerryn is also running her HYPER DASH class on the 17th October (next saturday night) which is available in store now!

That night is also our GIRLS NIGHT IN raising money and awareness for the Cancer Council. So for a donation you'll be able to come for a great night of challenges, games and laughs.

ARTYPANTS NEWS!!

Registrations are NOW OPEN for Artypant's big competition - SCRAP YOUR PANTS OFF!!!!!

The comp is open to anyone, but you must register your interest before it starts.

The first challenge will be revealed on 17th October and you'll have til the following Sunday night to upload to the gallery.

It will run for 6 weeks, with the top 3 or 4 having a SCRAP OFF in the 7th week.

The major prize will be a 3 month subscription to Artypants monthly kits, which are just awesome!!!! That includes free postage.

There will also be other games and challenges throughout the comp to play along with aswell as weekly prizes.

This weekend is Artpant's SCRAPTOBERFEST Cybercrop!!!! It will kick off on friday night will 2 challenges and a game and then saturday night another challenge and game. You'll have until wednesday night to upload, so lots of time to get your creations in!!

Artypants are also getting in lots of ace stock at the moment from Prima and Buzz and bloom and they have lots more yummy things like glimmermist (I just got my first bottle whoohoo!!!)
